For screen reader users, there are unnecessarily many steps to product information.

The focus order in the checkout is incorrect – gift cards and summary come after the payment button.
-
The heading structure is sometimes illogical, and some heading-like texts are not coded as headings.
-
Screen reader users receive unclear confirmation when purchasing.
-
When text is enlarged (200%), some menu options are hidden.
-
In horizontal mode on mobile, some menu options are hidden.
-
Insufficient contrast between text and background image (Some images, check back later when new images are in place)
-
The purpose of some links is unclear.
-
English texts on Swedish pages lack the correct lang attribute.
-
Some alt texts are missing or unclear.
-
There are some text components that chop up the text for screen readers.
-
Clue texts are sometimes unclear.
-
Forms lack clear error messages and feedback when entering data.
-
It is unclear which fields are mandatory.
-
Some components require swipe gestures in mobile view, which may be difficult to use for some users.
-
Unclear purchase confirmation for screen reader users.
What we are doing to address the shortcomings
We have begun work on improving accessibility and are planning the following measures:
-
Introduce more "skip content" links to facilitate keyboard navigation.
-
Adjust the focus order in the checkout.
-
Improve the heading structure and ensure that heading-like texts are correctly coded.
-
Reduce the number of steps for screen reader users to reach product information.
-
Implement clear feedback during purchases and product selection for screen readers.
-
Improve forms with clear error messages and feedback during input.
-
Make it clear which fields are mandatory.
-
Adjust components that cause choppy reading in screen readers.
-
Ensure that menu options are visible when text is enlarged (200%) and in horizontal mobile mode.
-
Check and improve contrast between text and background images (after image refresh).
-
Clarifying and supplementing alt texts.
-
Improve form prompts and correctly link them to input fields.
-
Mark up English texts with the correct lang attribute on Swedish pages.
-
Clarify the purpose of links.
